18th Wedding Anniversary. This year my flowers came in pots. Hopefully it will last longer than those bouquet which last only a few days. I'm into flowering plants for this season, my friend told me to paint my fingers "green" , so that my potted plants can last longer :)

We are so blessed for another year of God's added grace upon our lives. Each time we celebrate our anniversary, we realised how much God's love has poured into our union. We are so thankful to God our Saviour Jesus Christ!

Psalm 127

Unless the Lord builds the house,
its builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the watchmen stand guard in vain.

In vain you rise early and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat -
for He grant sleep to those he loves.

Sons are a heritage from the Lord,
children a reward from him.

Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are sons born in one's youth

Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Love you darling. love you Ben & Tim.

Brownies

My version of brownies

I was inspired by a young girl "Rebekah Mui" featured at "The Staronline" baking her Brownie Cake. I tried her recipe but half the portion only. It tasted great! If you are interested, do check this out.

All Time Favourite : Chilled Cheese Cake

classic lemon cheese cake

This is so rich and so tasty. You should only consume it once a year, unless you are in a weight gaining program. Help...... I'm taking more than what I should. I like this even though I'm not a "cheese fan".

Ingredients:

15 pieces Mc Vites biscuits
1/3 cup melted butter
500 gram Philadelphia Cream Cheese ( softened at room temperature)
2 teaspoon gelatine dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water
5 tablespoon condensed milk
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoon grated lemon rind

Method:

Mix biscuits crumbs with melted butter and press into springform cake pan. Chill.

Beat the cream cheese till smooth, mix in gelatine mixture, condensed milk, lemon juice and rind.

Pour onto crumb base and chill in refrigerator for 2-3 hours before serving.
