This is so enjoyable! Take a bite of “Lor Ti Kok” with a sip of Kopi O.
This Crispy Bread, “ Lor Ti Kok”, was specially bought for us by a couple who were at a Food Adventure Trip to Penang. They knew that we love coffee and thought that this would be a good compliment to a drink of kopi.
Tai Thong Restaurant "walnut lotus seed mooncake" notice the shape? so unique.
I'm so impressed by all those pretty boxes they made just for Mooncakes. I don't really like mooncakes but love those boxes. I was admiring those beautiful boxes from far and near in the supermarket. For this year I only keep the Overseas Restaurant box as it was so unique, just like a Big Book.

31st Aug 2009. Malaysia’s 52nd Independence Day! It was a wonderful holiday for all, and especially us, fishing at Ulu Yam Dam.
The weather was fine. It was a cool morning. We left home at 6.30am, packing along our breakfast: Mee in my cup, sausage rolls and hot coffee in thermos.
We spent 3 hours there. It was fun waiting and enjoying the scenery even though we caught nothing for the first hour. Finally, our patience paid off and we caught our one and only one “Ikan Toman”. It was such a great joy.
